Terms and Conditions — Papeleo

1. Definitions

  • “Papeleo” or “the Extension”: the browser extension (Chrome/Firefox) developed and published by Xabarin B.V. that enables auto-filling of web forms.
  • “Service”: the set of features provided by Papeleo, including data import, form auto-filling, and collection and record management.
  • “User”, “you”: any person who installs or uses the Extension.
  • “Collection”: a group of same-type data (e.g., “Clients”, “Products”) stored locally in the Extension.
  • “Record”: a single entry within a Collection (e.g., one specific client within the “Clients” collection).
  • “We”, “us”: Xabarin B.V., based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

2. Description of the service

Papeleo is a productivity tool that allows users to:

  • Import client data from CSV and XLSX files
  • Auto-fill web form fields using the imported data
  • Create and save custom field mappings per website
  • Store multiple collections and records encrypted on the local device

All client data is processed and stored exclusively on your device. Xabarin B.V. has no access to this data.

3. Account requirements and access

  • You must be at least 16 years old to use the Extension.
  • The Free plan does not require registration or an account. Simply install the Extension from Chrome Web Store or Firefox Add-ons.
  • For the Pro plan, you will need to provide a valid email address and a payment method.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Extension encryption password. We cannot recover encrypted data if you lose your password.

Payments

  • Payments are processed by Paddle (Merchant of Record), which handles billing, VAT, and refunds.
  • Monthly plans are billed on the sign-up date and renew automatically each month.
  • Annual plans are billed upfront and renew automatically 12 months later.
  • You can cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Paddle issues VAT-inclusive invoices automatically.

6. Acceptable use

By using Papeleo, you agree to:

  • Use the Extension solely to auto-fill web forms with legitimate data
  • Not use the Extension to submit false, fraudulent, or misleading information to any form
  • Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Extension
  • Not use the Extension to violate the terms of service of any website
  • Not distribute, sublicense, or resell the Extension or any part of it
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including GDPR if you process third-party personal data

7. Intellectual property

  • The Extension, its source code, design, logos, and content are the property of Xabarin B.V. and are protected by intellectual property laws.
  • We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Extension in accordance with these Terms.
  • The data you import and store in the Extension is exclusively yours. We claim no rights over it.

8. Privacy

The processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Extension, you accept the practices described in that policy.

9. Limitation of liability

  • The Extension is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
  • We do not guarantee that the Extension will work correctly on all websites or forms, or that it will be error-free.
  • We are not responsible for errors in form auto-filling. The user is responsible for reviewing data before submitting any form.
  • In no event shall Xabarin B.V. be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of or inability to use the Extension.
  • Our total maximum liability shall be limited to the amount you have paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

10. Termination

  • You may stop using the Extension at any time by uninstalling it from your browser.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or cancel your access to the Pro plan if you breach these Terms.
  • Upon termination, your local data will remain on your device until you manually delete it or uninstall the Extension.

11. Modifications

  • We may update these Terms periodically. Material changes will be communicated through the Extension or the Chrome Web Store listing.
  • Continued use of the Extension after the publication of changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
  • The “last updated” date at the top of this document indicates when it was most recently revised.

12. Governing law

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of The Netherlands.
  • Any disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
